Doors Open Toronto: Architectural Icons at Exhibition Place

Exhibition Place has been home to Toronto’s much loved annual summer fair, the CNE, since 1879. However, visitors may not realize that eclectic architecture and art are found across the site. From the iconic Princes’ Gates, opened in 1927 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Confederation; to the Art Deco detail of the Horse Palace; and the folded steel roof of the 1957 Queen Elizabeth Building - the Ex grounds hold generations of architectural gems and adorning artwork. Registration is mandatory and space is limited. An email confirmation will be sent to participants 72 hours prior to the Doors Open Toronto weekend.
